We understand that sometimes you may want to return a doll. We do allow returns for 14 days from the date we shipped the doll, but you must call for a return authorization. Any doll returned without an authorization will be refused and returned to you at your expense. The doll must arrive back to us in the same condition as we sent it out. If you have taken the doll out of the box, it must be returned to the box with all packing securely in place. All shipping is at the buyer’s expense. If you received free shipping with the doll being returned, the cost of shipping the doll to you will be deducted from your refund.
Once the doll has been received back in satisfactory condition, you will receive a credit for the price of the doll less any free shipping charges. If the doll has been damaged or blemished in any way, no credit will be given, and you will be given the option of paying to have the doll shipped back to you.
On the rare occasion that the doll arrives damaged or defective, we will send return postage for the doll and send a replacement to you once we have received the damaged/defective doll back. If we do not have another doll, we will offer you a substitute or refund your money. In this case we do refund postage. If the doll arrives with missing accessories, please do not return the doll, we will send you the missing accessory at no additional cost.
If item not in stock, you will be advised of availability and may cancel your order if time frame is not acceptable.
From time to time dolls will be offered for sale before they are actually available. These are called Pre-Orders. You may pre-order a doll and pay a $10.00 non-refundable deposit. The balance will not be due until the doll is in stock. If you change your mind and cancel the pre-order, the deposit is forfeited. This is because we have reserved an item for you and possibly turned away other potential buyers. If the doll is over $100.00 and payment is made in full once the doll is received, we will allow free shipping on the order. We will allow a layaway on a pre-order but require that at least half the cost of the doll be paid at the time the doll is in stock.
We do accept layaways on regularly priced dolls. There is no layaway available for dolls on sale or for dolls under $50.00. When determining the amount of the layaway, in cases where more than one doll is laid away, each doll is considered separately and not the cumulative sum of all dolls laid away.
For dolls priced between $50.00 and $100.00 you may make two payments, 50% at the time of the layaway and 50% 30 days later.
For dolls priced between $100.01 and $300.00 you make 4 payments consisting of 25% down, and 25% due every 30 days until paid in full.
For dolls priced over $300.00 you may make 5 payments consisting of 20% down and 20% due every 30 days.
When determining the amount of the layaway payment, shipping and sales tax will be included. There is no free shipping with layaways. The actual shipping cost will be charged at the time of the final payment.
Layaways may be paid in full at any time, and you may pay a greater amount than the minimum required.
Layaway payments which become more than 1 week late will be charged an additional $15.00 fee for each late payment. We reserve the right to cancel a layaway which is more than 30 days in arrears, in which case all payments would be forfeited.
There are no refunds or exchanges of merchandise on layaway.
Pages are updated regularly. Shipment of in-stock items will be within 2 business days if credit card order. Personal checks will require 5 business days to clear. If item not in stock, you will be advised of availability and may cancel your order if time frame is not acceptable.

This statement applies solely to information collected at Judys Dolls Web site. You as our valued customer can be assured we will never sell or give our customer mailing lists to other companies or firms.
